PCC chief Jitu said- BJP only wants to take votes from OBC, Leader of Opposition said this

Amid ongoing politics over OBC reservation, Rahul Gandhi is set to visit Madhya Pradesh at the end of July. PCC Chief Jitu Patwari accused BJP of using OBCs only for votes, while the Leader of Opposition also targeted the ruling party.

After the court's comment on OBC reservation, politics has heated up in Madhya Pradesh. State President Jitu Patwari and Leader of Opposition Umang Singhar held a press conference regarding the matter. Jitu Patwari said- Rahul Gandhi will come to MP at the end of July. He will visit Bundelkhand and interact with the people of OBC.

PCC chief Jitu Patwari said- Kamal Nath implemented 27% reservation for OBC in 2019. BJP stole the government, stole the future of OBC, BJP government tried to stop the reservation, BJP is cheating OBC by putting a stay. Supreme Court said- If the law has been made then why was it not implemented. When the court asked on July 4, the lawyers said that we are against 27% reservation. You are sitting on your shoulders and strangling OBC. Congress will fight for OBCs till its last drop.

Leader of Opposition Umang Singhar said that Shivraj Singh could not fight for reservation for OBCs in the state. Mohan Yadav calls the PM a backward class person. He is making the backward people backward. OBC students work hard but they do not get the benefit of reservation. SC had said that it will not exceed 50%. Tushar Mehta is talking about the government, this was the government's opinion. The government should take a decision on this immediately. The results have been put on hold. OBC students are working in the fields. This future of OBCs has been decided by the government.

Percentage of reservation as per census

Rahul Gandhi has talked about caste census. Percentage of reservation will be decided as per census. In Telangana, OBC reservation has been kept to be increased to 42%. More than 57% came out in the door to door survey. The central government wants to hold back the reservation of OBC category. Mandal Commission had talked about 27% reservation in many states. BJP is a party that gives speeches. It is not a party that implements policies. The CM always puts the matter in the court. BJP has got the majority, it should take decisions for the backward classes.
