Railway passengers please note: Special train will run between Bhopal and Gaya for Pitru Paksha

To facilitate devotees during Pitru Paksha, Indian Railways has announced a special train between Bhopal and Gaya. The train will provide convenient travel for passengers and special arrangements have been made for their comfort.

On the occasion of Pitru Paksha, the Railways has announced to run a special train for the convenience of the devotees of Madhya Pradesh. This train will run between Rani Kamalapati station in Bhopal and Gaya in Bihar. During Pitru Paksha, a large number of devotees from Madhya Pradesh reach Gaya to perform Pinddaan and Tarpan for the peace of the souls of their ancestors. In view of this crowd, West Central Railway has decided to run a Pitru Paksha special train between Rani Kamalapati-Gaya-Rani Kamalapati. This train will make the journey easy and convenient for the devotees.

The details of the train are as follows

Train number 01661, Rani Kamalapati-Gaya Pitru Paksha Special will leave Rani Kamalapati station on 7, 12 and 17 September at 1:20 pm and will reach Gaya at 9:30 am the next day.

Train number 01662, Gaya-Rani Kamalapati Pitru Paksha Special will leave Gaya station at 2:15 pm on September 10, 15 and 20 and reach Rani Kamalapati at 10:45 am the next day.
This special train will bring great relief to the devotees traveling between Madhya Pradesh and Bihar. Railways have appealed to the passengers to book their tickets in advance to avoid any inconvenience during the journey. Ticket booking can be done through official counters of railways and online platform IRCTC.
