Several photos of Muktesh Jain with a Union Minister, former CM, and local minister have also surfaced. In an International Literacy Day poster, he is listed as ‘District Co-convener, Trader Cell, Gwalior Rural’ alongside the lotus symbol.
The victim woman approached Gwalior police to file a complaint, but they did not listen. On September 16, she went to the SP office public hearing, demanding action against jeweler and BJP leader Muktesh Jain for rape, physical exploitation, and threats. Police instructed the station in-charge to investigate and act on her complaint.
Case registered against Muktesh Jain
· Accused Muktesh Jain, along with some women, claimed on social media that he had lent over Rs 85 lakh to the victim and presented documents as proof.
· He alleged that the woman threatened to file a false case when he asked for repayment. After investigation, police on Sunday registered a case against Muktesh Jain under charges including physical exploitation and death threats.
· The BJP leader has absconded, and police are actively raiding his known hideouts for arrest.
Police Station In-charge Mirza Asif Baig says-Based on the woman's complaint, a case has been registered against the BJP leader. The accused is being searched for and will be arrested soon.
