Red Alert: Bhopal Endures 3 Hours of Heavy Rain; Multiple Districts in Crisis

Bhopal has been battered by a strong rain system, with uninterrupted heavy showers lasting for the past three hours. IMD has raised red alerts across several MP districts, with up to 4.5 inches (114 mm) of rain expected in the next 24 hours. Residents are urged to stay indoors and avoid waterlogged areas until the monsoon subsides.

The series of rains continues in Madhya Pradesh. Heavy rain has been falling in the capital Bhopal for the last three hours. The Meteorological Department has issued a heavy rain alert in many districts including Bhopal today. Similar weather will prevail in the state for the next four days.

According to the Meteorological Department, a strong system is active in MP for the next 4 days. Due to which heavy rains are expected in many districts. On Wednesday, a red alert of extremely heavy rain has been issued in Bhind, Morena, Niwari districts. While there is an orange alert for rain in many districts including Jabalpur, Damoh, Chhatarpur.

Heavy rain has been falling in the capital Bhopal for the last three hours. Talking about the weather of the last 24 hours, Balaghat received the highest rainfall of 2.75 inches. On Tuesday, it rained in many districts of the state including Sheopur, Mauganj. At the same time, rain continues in many districts including Chhatarpur, Dewas, Sehore.
