A female Patwari has been arrested taking bribe in Madhya Pradesh's capital Bhopal. It was told that the Patwari had demanded 36 thousand bribe from the farmer in the name of demarcation. Lokayukta's team caught her red handed while taking 10 thousand bribe. At present, Lokayukta police is engaged in further action.
In Bhopal's Huzur tehsil, Patwari Supriya Jain had demanded 36 thousand rupees from farmer Mohammad Aslam for demarcation. The farmer expressed his inability to give 36 thousand, after which Patwari Supriya Jain demanded 30 thousand. Farmer Mohammad Aslam complained about this to Lokayukta. Lokayukta investigated the complaint. In which the complaint was found to be correct. Then Lokayukta made a plan to arrest the Patwari red handed while taking bribe. When farmer Aslam reached to give the first installment of bribe of Rs. 10,000, the Patwari was caught.
