Seventh Day of Navratri: Key Events Across MP

On the seventh day of Navratri, CM Dr. Mohan Yadav to transfer ₹489 crore to schools from Harda; PCC Chief to visit Agar Malwa. Key administrative meetings include Collector-SP, IG-Commissioner conferences. Tourist vehicles barred from Van Vihar; NCVET workshop held in Bhopal’s Central Zone.

Today is the seventh day of Sharadiya Navratri. During the nine days of Navratri, nine forms of Goddess Durga are worshipped. On the seventh day, Goddess Kaalratri is worshipped. Devotees are flocking to temples across Madhya Pradesh on the occasion of Navratri.
CM Dr. Mohan's Harda Visit
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav will be visiting Harda district today. He will transfer funds to school accounts in Khirkiya village. The money will be transferred to the bank accounts of over 20,000 private schools. Under the Right to Education Act, fees for 8.5 lakh students will be transferred. Under the RTE Act, ₹489 crore will be paid to private schools.

PCC Chief's Visit
Congress State President Jitu Patwari will be visiting Agar Malwa today. He will worship Goddess Baglamukhi. He will then travel from Agar Malwa to Indore. The PCC Chief will stay overnight in Indore.

Collector-SP IG Commissioner Conference
CM Dr. Mohan Yadav and Collector-SP IG Commissioner will hold a conference. This conference will be held on October 7th and 8th at the Kushabhau Thakre Convention Center in Bhopal. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav will present the roadmap. Additional Chief Secretaries and Principal Secretary-level officers will also make presentations. Three Principal Secretaries, including five Additional Chief Secretaries, will deliver presentations on various issues in the state. They will also highlight achievements and shortcomings on more than two dozen schemes, including law and order, farmer-related schemes, good governance, revenue, development in tribal areas, the PM Awas Yojana, and the Jal Jeevan Mission. Separate group discussions will be held for IAS and IPS officers.

Positive Changes in Van Vihar
In a positive change to Van Vihar National Park, Bhopal, tourist vehicles will now be prohibited from entering the park to make it noise-free for wildlife. To make Van Vihar pollution-free, 40 golf carts will soon be operational for tourist use. Of these 40 golf carts, 32 will be available for use on a "half-on, half-off" basis, while 8 golf carts (6-seater) will be available for free for tourists for a 3-hour booking. These golf carts will operate continuously from both gates of Van Vihar every 10 minutes. They will stop at each Blue Point for 30 seconds to one minute, giving tourists ample time to view the wildlife as desired.

Central Zone NCVET Workshop in Bhopal
A Central Zone NCVET workshop will be held in Bhopal, the capital. Representatives from NCVET, the Union Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, the Madhya Pradesh government, and the states of the Central Zone will participate in this workshop. The workshop will discuss possibilities for combining academic knowledge and professional knowledge to benefit participants.
