Passengers of the Shridham Express faced long delays after the train’s engine failed, leaving it stranded at a station for several hours. After an extended wait, authorities managed to attach a goods train engine, enabling the train to resume its journey and reach Gwalior.
The engine of Shridham Express going from New Delhi to Jabalpur failed on Sunday. The train which was standing at the station for hours was brought to Gwalior railway station with the engine of a goods train after a long wait. During this time, the passengers kept getting troubled in the heat. The department is hiding the information about how the engine failed. The engine of train number 12191 Shridham Express failed at Banmor station, located at some distance from Gwalior railway station. The engine failed at 06:36 pm on Sunday evening. After which the loco pilot informed the control about the matter. The engine was waited for more than two and a half hours. After which the engine of the goods train was attached to the train at Banmor station and brought to Gwalior station.
Passengers got troubled Where the engineers checked the engine of the train. After this the train was sent further. Let us tell you that due to engine failure, the passengers had to face trouble at Banmor station in the summer season. Railway employees were not giving information about the engine failure to the passengers. Also, no employee was present at the information center. However, the Shridham Express which was supposed to reach Jabalpur by Monday morning has not reached there yet. It is not yet clear why the engine failed.
