Special Trains Announced Through Madhya Pradesh to Ease Festive Rush; Passengers from Bihar and Maharashtra to Benefit

To manage the festive rush and ensure smoother travel across central India, the Indian Railways has announced several special trains operating through Madhya Pradesh. The Western Central Railway (Bhopal Division) will run additional services on two key routes connecting Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, and Maharashtra.
Barauni–Bandra Terminus specials via Itarsi
Three special trains have been scheduled between Barauni in Bihar and Bandra Terminus in Mumbai, passing through Itarsi. These services will run on November 7, 8, and 9, 2025, offering relief to passengers from Bhopal, Narmadapuram, and adjoining districts.
Train number 05213 will depart Barauni at 12:00 PM and reach Itarsi at 9:05 AM the next day before arriving at Bandra Terminus at 4:45 AM on the third day. The same schedule will apply to trains 05215 and 05217 operating on November 8 and 9 respectively.
Major halts include Mokama, Patna, Danapur, Prayagraj Chheoki, Satna, Katni, Jabalpur, Itarsi, Khandwa, Bhusaval, Navsari, Valsad, and Vapi.
Additional trips on Rani Kamalapati–Danapur route
Two more trips of the Rani Kamalapati (Bhopal)–Danapur (Patna) special train have been added to meet high demand. Train 01667 will depart from Rani Kamalapati every Saturday and Tuesday at 2:25 PM, reaching Danapur at 8:45 AM the following day (on November 8 and 11). The return train, 01668, will leave Danapur every Sunday and Wednesday at 11:00 AM, arriving in Bhopal at 8:55 AM the next day (on November 9 and 12).
Railway assurance
Officials said the additional trains will help accommodate the surge in festive passengers, ensuring greater comfort and connectivity across Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, and Maharashtra during the travel peak.
