State to Celebrate Independence Day with Flag Hoisting, 156 Prisoners Released

On 15 August, grand celebrations will be held across the state as CM Dr. Mohan and ministers hoist the national flag. As part of the occasion, 156 prisoners will be released.
Today, the 79th Independence Day is being celebrated across the country. A grand event is being organized across the state on the anniversary of Independence Day. First, the Chief Minister will pay tribute to the martyrs at the Shaurya Smarak. The Chief Minister will hoist the flag at Lal Parade Ground Bhopal. He will give a message to the people of the state in the state level function.
The Chief Minister's message will be read from 9:25 am to 9:55 am. The message will be broadcast live in the function organized at the district headquarters. Flag hoisting will take place at all government offices at 8:00 am or before that. Programs will be organized at the district level from 9:00 am.
CM Dr. Mohan will participate in the flag hoisting program at CM House
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav will participate in the flag hoisting program at CM House today at 07.35 am. He will participate in the flag hoisting program at BJP State Office at 07.55 am. He will reach Shaurya Smarak at 08.25 am and pay tribute to the martyrs. 08.52 AM Will attend the state level Independence Day function organized at Lal Parade. Will have general meeting at CM House from 11.00 AM. Will meet medal-winning officers and employees of Police, Municipal Services and Jail Department and their families at CM House from 3 PM. Will attend the Azadi Ka Mahaparv program and National Honor Decoration Ceremony organized at Ravindra Bhawan at 6.30 PM. Will attend VC at CM House at 8 PM.
156 prisoners will be released
156 prisoners will be released on 15 August in the state. Prisoners serving life sentence will be released. 6 women are also included among the prisoners being released. Under the release policy of the Jail Department, special remission has been given in the sentence. Under the policy, rape and POCSO prisoners are not given remission. Prisoners are released on special occasions 5 days in a year. Eligible prisoners get release on Republic Day, Ambedkar Jayanti, Independence Day, Gandhi Jayanti, National Tribal Pride Day. Maximum 25 prisoners will be released from Bhopal Jail.
