In Madhya Pradesh's Depalpur, the courage of thieves seems to be increasing. Thefts are taking place every day in the city. CCTV footage of the theft incident has also come to light. Here, the thieves have targeted not one or two but three vacant houses. From where the thieves made away with jewellery and cash worth lakhs. The surprising thing is that the colony in which the thieves have committed this crime is inhabited by top police officials and policemen.
According to the information, the theft incident is from Nakshatra City Colony, which is considered a posh area of Depalpur city. Here on Monday-Tuesday night, unknown thieves raided three vacant houses of the colony and broke the locks and cupboards and made away with jewellery and cash worth lakhs of rupees. The thieves have committed the crime by breaking the cupboards and locks of Sohan Kher (tailoring businessman), Ramdayal Harra (Bank of Baroda employee), Ashok Solanki (Sen). All the three incidents took place in the same night in the posh colony of the city, Nakshatra Colony.
Tailor Kher told that three tola gold, about three to four hundred grams of silver and cash were stolen from his house. Bank employee Darra told that goods worth about 3 lakhs including 50 thousand cash, gold earrings, ring, children's piggy bank are missing from his house. About 15000 rupees were stolen from Ashok Solanki's house.
When the colony residents came to know about the incident late in the evening, they called the people of the houses where the theft took place and informed them about it. After that everyone lodged a report in the police station. At night, the colony residents reached the police station and gave a memorandum that Dial 100 vehicle should patrol the colony at night. Fear and anger is prevailing among the colony residents due to the continuous thefts.
