"Tiger Found Dead in Seoni's Pench Reserve, Investigation Underway"
The body of a tiger was discovered in Seoni's Pench Tiger Reserve. Forest officials have launched an investigation to determine the cause of death.
The patrolling team found the body of a tiger in the dense forest area of Rukhad Buffer forest of Pench Tiger Reserve on Saturday morning. The body of the tiger is estimated to be a few days old, most of its body has rotted and deteriorated.
According to the information, wildlife doctor Dr. Akhilesh Mishra posted in Pench Park has been called to conduct post-mortem of the tiger's body found in a dense and inaccessible area ahead of Masulnala in the forest of Rukhad East Beat.
Is any organ missing?
Apart from the dog squad, forest officials and field staff including Pench Deputy Director Rajneesh Singh have reached the spot and started investigation. Officials say that how old the body is, it will be clear after investigation. It is also being investigated whether any part of the tiger's body is missing.
Claims of regular patrolling exposed
The discovery of a rotten carcass of a tiger in a dense forest area has exposed the claims of regular patrolling of the forest by the field staff of Pench management. However, the officials are avoiding giving any reaction in this matter.
Deputy Director of Pench Rajneesh Singh told Naiduniya that information was received about the carcass of a tiger being found in a dense forest area deep inside Masulnala in Rukhad buffer forest. Detailed information is being collected after reaching the spot, only after that something can be said.
