Historical Heritage 'Gulab Chakkar' Opens to Public with Music Performances and Upcoming Amenities

The iconic 'Gulab Chakkar' heritage site is now open to the public, featuring a 5-day music performance. In two months, two open-air restaurants will open, with evening sound system demonstrations adding to the experience.

 
 

The ancient Gulab Chakar located in the old collectorate of the district headquarters is now open to the public. The District Archaeology, Tourism and Culture Council has beautified this ancient heritage. Electrical decorations were also done with colorful LED lights. Collector Rajesh Batham has opened Gulab Chakar for the city residents after performing Puja. Once Maharaja used to play tennis in Herbert Palace, then the melodious sound of the government band used to resonate here. To make it alive, a musical performance was given by the police band of MP SAF Indore along with Gulab Chakar. In the evening, artists from various singing clubs, groups, orchestras presented songs and music.

Artists of Singing Club gave performance

The historic Gulab Chakar, dazzling with colorful electrical decorations, opened to the public. Artists of Girish Sharma Singing Club presented a song. The collector said that after the lighting and sound arrangements, yoga classes will start by Patanjali Yogapeeth local branch from 7.30 am. There will be song and music programs daily for five days. Two open air restaurants will also start functioning in two months.
