MP Government Boosts NSS for Nationalism and Security, Announces ₹1 Lakh Reward for Outstanding Service

The Madhya Pradesh government has taken an important decision to increase the number of units of the National Service Scheme (NSS) to promote army, security and nationalism. Preparations to expand the branches of NSS in the state have intensified. At present, 1560 branches of NSS are operating in the schools and colleges of the state, in which 1.56 lakh students are registered.
Reward of Rs 1 lakh for excellent service
Applications have been sought from schools and colleges to increase the number of branches. Along with this, NSS volunteers who do excellent service will be awarded a reward of Rs 1 lakh. Coordinators have also been appointed for the smooth functioning of NSS programs at the university level. This step will further strengthen the spirit of national service and social responsibility among the youth.
