Tensions flared during the Youth Congress membership campaign as two groups of Congress workers clashed violently. Police registered an FIR following the incident.

Youth Congress elections are also being held in Madhya Pradesh under the Congress Srujan Abhiyan. In this episode, a membership campaign is also being run. During the membership campaign, news of Congressmen clashing in Gwalior has come to the fore. There has been a fierce fight between two groups.

Congress leader Sunil Sharma's supporters Karan Sharma and Deepak Baghel were beaten up. Congress leader Yogendra Tomar and his supporters are accused of assault after a dispute. The incident took place in PHE Colony of Hazira area. Both the parties reached the police station late at night. Both the parties accused each other.

Political confrontation since the assembly elections
The police have taken action on the basis of facts. In this episode, Sunil Sharma supporter Deepak Baghel has lodged an FIR against Yogendra Tomar. Sunil Sharma and Yogendra Tomar have become staunch opponents of each other since the assembly elections. Congress had fielded Sunil Sharma in the elections by giving him a ticket against Minister Pradyuman Singh Tomar. Since the assembly elections, there has been political and muscle power clash between the supporters of both. The Hazira police station is engaged in further action.
