Today, July 12, 2025, is a big day for 1.27 crore Ladli sisters of Madhya Pradesh. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav will transfer the amount of the 26th installment of Ladli Bahana Yojana to the accounts of beneficiary women in a state-level program organized at Gram Panchayat Nalwa in Ujjain. This time, along with the fixed amount of Rs 1250, an additional shagun of Rs 250 will also be sent to the account of each beneficiary on the occasion of Rakshabandhan. That is, a total amount of Rs 1500 will be deposited in the accounts of the sisters.
Apart from this, CM Dr. Mohan Yadav will also transfer the amount to the accounts of the beneficiaries under the Social Security Pension Scheme and Cylinder Refilling Scheme. Under the Social Security Pension Scheme, eligible beneficiaries will get the pension amount for the month of July, while under the Cylinder Refilling Scheme, 26 lakh sisters will be provided financial assistance for gas cylinder refilling.
Ladli Behna Yojana, which was launched in June 2023, is an important step towards empowering women economically. So far, an amount of more than Rs 30 thousand crore has been transferred to the beneficiaries under this scheme. Also, a special assistance amount of Rs 250 was also given on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan in August 2023 and 2024.
