Torrential Rain Alert for 25 Districts, Including Bhopal-Indore

A torrential rain alert has been issued for 25 districts, including Bhopal and Indore, with up to 8 inches of rainfall expected in the next 24 hours. Stay updated on today’s weather conditions and prepare for heavy downpours.

Monsoon has picked up pace in Madhya Pradesh. Heavy rain warning has been issued in many districts of the state today. Heavy rain alert has been issued in 25 districts including Bhopal, Indore. In these districts, up to 8 inches of water can fall in the next 24 hours.

According to the Meteorological Department, a monsoon trough is passing over Madhya Pradesh. A low pressure area is active in Saurashtra-Kutch of Gujarat. Due to which a warning of heavy rain has been issued in the state for the next 4 days. Intermittent rain will continue in the entire state.

On Tuesday, an orange alert has been issued for very heavy rain in Ashoknagar, Shivpuri, Narmadapuram, Chhindwara, Pandhurna, Seoni, Mandla and Balaghat. In these districts, up to 8 inches of water can fall in the next 24 hours. Heavy rain warning has been issued in Sheopur, Rajgarh, Sehore, Vidisha, Betul, Raisen, Sagar, Niwari, Tikamgarh, Chhatarpur, Damoh, Jabalpur, Maihar, Satna, Panna, Sidhi. Light rain will continue in Bhopal, Indore, Ujjain, Gwalior.

Due to rain, the day temperature has dropped. The mercury was recorded at 23.2 degrees in Pachmarhi, 24.6 degrees in Seoni, 25 degrees in Malajkhand and 25.5 degrees in Betul.
