Tragic Road Accident in Bhopal: Cleaner Killed in Truck-Dumper Collision, Crowd Rushes to Loot Spilled Oil

Bhopal – A devastating road accident occurred on Saturday in the Bilkhiriya police station area of the capital city, where a high-speed collision between a truck and a dumper resulted in the tragic death of a truck cleaner. The driver sustained serious injuries and was rushed to the hospital.

According to eyewitnesses, the truck was carrying edible oil containers, which spilled all over the road due to the impact. What followed was a disturbing scene — instead of helping, passersby scrambled to collect the spilled oil. People rushed in from nearby areas, grabbing cans and carrying them away, with some even loading them into their vehicles.

Upon receiving information, the police arrived promptly and dispersed the crowd. Emergency services transported the injured to a nearby hospital. The front portion of the truck was completely mangled, requiring the use of a crane to extract the cleaner's body from the wreckage.

Preliminary investigations suggest that the truck driver may have dozed off at the wheel, causing the vehicle to ram into the dumper ahead. The crash also led to a temporary traffic jam in the area, which was quickly brought under control by the local police.

Authorities have registered a case and a detailed investigation is currently underway to ascertain the exact cause of the incident.
