The incident took place near Jetpura, where a private bus named Rehmat, traveling from Manasa, collided with the two-wheeler.
The victim, identified as Shankarlal Sargara, son of Naurat Ram, hailed from Bhilwara, Rajasthan, and was employed as a driver with Dhanuk Company. He died on the spot due to the severe impact of the collision.
Following the accident, the bus driver fled the scene. Passersby promptly alerted emergency services, including 108 Ambulance and Dial 100. A police team reached the site shortly thereafter and sent the body to the district hospital for postmortem examination.
The police have registered a case and initiated a search to locate the absconding driver.
