Truck brakes fail; hits multiple vehicles in Indore, driver taken into custody

In Indore, an out-of-control truck crashed into several vehicles and people. In this accident, a woman was injured. The incident took place on Saturday night at the Loha Mandi Bridge in the Raoji Bazar police station area of the city.
It is being said that the brakes of a mini truck number MP13 GB 6446 failed here. After that, it collided with several vehicles.
The truck stopped after hitting a loading vehicle, which averted a major accident. At present, the police have seized the truck and taken the driver into custody.
The mini truck came hitting three to four vehicles and people. It has been coming from Navlakha while ramming into vehicles. It broke two to three vehicles. This is a major accident. An eyewitness said

The police issued a press note about the incident. It stated that in this accident, a scooty rider, Sharmila, wife of Islam Patel, resident of Bhima Nagar, was hit by the mini truck. She sustained minor injuries.
According to the police, the brakes of the mini truck had failed. Investigation also found that the driver was not under the influence of alcohol. The vehicle stopped after colliding with a loading vehicle, preventing a major accident.
Traffic ACP Hindu Singh Muvel said – the vehicle has been parked at the police station. The driver, Mangal, son of Mohanlal Kewat, 25 years old, resident of Sanwer Bypass, Indore, is being interrogated. The injured woman was sent to the hospital for treatment. She has also been discharged.
