Protesters in Ujjain burnt US President Donald Trump's effigy, vowing to boycott foreign companies and promote Swadeshi products.

The effigy of US President Donald Trump was burnt in Ujjain district of Madhya Pradesh. Actually, there is a lot of anger among the people about imposing 50 percent tariff on India. Protests were held regarding this. Along with this, an oath has also been taken to boycott foreign companies. At the same time, people have also been appealed to buy goods from local shopkeepers.

The effigy of the US President was burnt in Ujjain under the banner of Swadeshi Jagran Manch. During this, a large number of people were present at the Tower Chowk of the city. Swadeshi Jagran Manch administered an oath to the people to boycott foreign companies. Along with this, an appeal has also been made to buy goods from local shopkeepers.

Oath taken to boycott foreign goods

State co-convener of Swadeshi Jagran Manch, Dilip Singh Chauhan said that today on the occasion of August Revolution Day, Swadeshi Jagran Manch organized a boycott of foreign goods in Ujjain. In which a pledge has been taken to adopt Swadeshi and run away from foreign goods. An appeal to all is that only after leaving foreign goods, we will make India prosperous, self-reliant and powerful.

Dilip Singh Chauhan further said that the effigy of US President Donald Trump was burnt for imposing 50 percent tariff on India. American, Chinese and Turkish companies are completely boycotted. There is an appeal to all to promote Swadeshi and buy goods only from local traders, so that our trade increases, so that we can become prosperous and powerful. An oath has been administered to the public, the purpose of which is that everyone will use Swadeshi and boycott foreign goods.
