Union Minister J.P. Nadda Arrives in Jabalpur on Three-Day Visit, Set to Attend Public and Cultural Programmes

Union Minister for Health and Family Welfare and Chemicals and Fertilizers, Jagat Prakash Nadda, arrived in Jabalpur on Thursday evening for a three-day visit focused on organisational meetings, cultural engagements and public interactions across the region. He is scheduled to depart for New Delhi on Saturday afternoon, concluding his tour.

Nadda landed at Dumna Airport around 5 pm, where he was received by leaders and workers of the Bharatiya Janata Party’s Jabalpur unit. A formal reception was organised at the airport, reflecting the political significance of the visit. Senior party functionaries and local representatives were present to welcome the Union Minister.

Soon after his arrival, Nadda proceeded to the Civil Lines residence of Madhya Pradesh Public Works Minister Rakesh Singh, where he held informal discussions. Later in the evening, at around 6:30 pm, he paid a courtesy visit to the Right Town MP Office of Jabalpur Member of Parliament Ashish Dubey. Party sources said the meetings included discussions on organisational matters and regional issues.

The Union Minister’s schedule on Friday includes participation in a cultural programme marking the centenary celebrations of the Siddhi Bala Bose Library Association. At 10:30 am, he will attend a function organised at the City Bengali Club in the Karmchand Chowk area. The event is expected to draw prominent citizens, cultural representatives and political leaders.

Following the Jabalpur engagement, Nadda will travel to Katni from Dumna Airport at 12:30 pm on Friday. During his visit to Katni, he is slated to take part in local programmes and interact with party workers and community representatives. Details of the Katni schedule indicate a focus on outreach and organisational strengthening.

After completing his engagements in Katni, the Union Minister will return to Jabalpur later in the day. In the evening, at around 5:45 pm, he is scheduled to reach Gwarighat, where he will participate in the Maha Aarti of Maa Narmada, a significant religious and cultural ritual held on the banks of the river.

Officials said security arrangements have been put in place across venues in view of the high-profile visit. Traffic management plans have also been prepared to ensure smooth movement during the Union Minister’s engagements.

J.P. Nadda is scheduled to depart for New Delhi on Saturday at 1 pm from Dumna Airport. Party leaders said the visit is part of the Union Minister’s ongoing outreach and organisational engagements in Madhya Pradesh, with an emphasis on connecting with local institutions, cultural bodies and party workers.
