A tense situation emerged in Rewa district on Monday after an elderly man was found dead under suspicious circumstances in Sav village under Chorhata police station limits. The deceased was identified as Tej Pratap Kushwaha, a local resident who reportedly ran a vegetable shop in the village.

According to family members, Kushwaha had been missing for the last two days. His body was later discovered in a field near the village, triggering outrage among relatives and local residents.
