Vyapam Scam: Court Trial to Start on July 28, 8 Accused Deceased

The long-pending Vyapam scam case will go to trial on July 28. So far, 8 accused in the case have died, raising concerns over the high-profile investigation.

 
 

The trial in the Vyapam fraud case in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh will begin in court from July 28. The court of Special Judge Vishal Akhand will hear this case.

Let us tell you that an FIR was lodged in this case in 2013 at Jhansi Road police station in Gwalior. In 2015, the CBI started investigating the case. In the year 2020, the CBI presented a chargesheet in the court.

130 people have been made accused in the CBI chargesheet. Out of which eight accused have died so far. 122 accused will face trial in the court. It is worth noting that many famous faces including the son of a Congress MLA are accused in this case.
