Disruption and questions during Rahul Gandhi’s Bhopal visit
Rahul Gandhi came to attend the Political Affairs Committee (PAC) meeting at Madhya Pradesh Congress office. However, senior leader Nakulnath’s absence in this meeting stirred discussions within the party. Before the meeting, some Congress workers stopped his vehicle on the way from the airport to the office and raised slogans in support. Police intervened to clear the way, but in the chaos, some workers fell on the road.
Chief Minister Mohan Yadav targets Rahul
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav accused Rahul Gandhi of disrespecting culture. He said Rahul did not remove his shoes while paying floral tribute to his grandmother and former Prime Minister of India Indira Gandhi, which goes against Indian traditions. He called it a sign of changing mentality and distance from values in Congress.

Rahul Gandhi’s visit was entirely focused on organization. He held three meetings at the state Congress headquarters and addressed district and block presidents at Ravindra Bhavan in the afternoon. According to party sources, Rahul’s focus is on reorganizing Madhya Pradesh Congress and preparing for 2029.
