Woman dies due to tiger attack in Umaria: Claw marks found on face and neck, people of the area in panic

In Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve of Umaria in Madhya Pradesh, a tiger attacked a woman who went to the field to defecate on Friday morning. Due to this the woman died on the spot. The incident is being reported from Manpur buffer area. At the same time, there is an atmosphere of panic among the people of the area since the incident. After getting information about the case, the forest department team reached the spot and started searching for the tiger.

According to the forest department, Galli Bai Yadav (40), a resident of Rakhi village, had gone near the inner drain to defecate. During this time, a tiger hiding in the bushes suddenly attacked her. Tiger Reserve officials are investigating the matter. Patrolling has been increased through elephants.

Looking at the woman's body, it can be guessed that the tiger did not attack her with the intention of hunting. This is because no part of the woman's body has been damaged. There are injury marks only on the face and neck. Tiger footprints have been found at the place of attack. At present, people of the area have been alerted. The forest department team is patrolling the area on elephants.
