Accident during tank cleaning sparks protest; issue resolved with ₹5 lakh compensation and job to one dependent.
The series of accidents with workers in private companies is not stopping. Accidents happen in factories every day. The latest case has come to light from Aries Bionext Private Limited Company of Obedullaganj, where a worker fell from a height of 50 feet while cleaning the tank, due to which he died. The angry family members of the deceased kept the body at the gate of the company and demanded compensation.
Actually, the 30-year-old deceased Pawan Pal was a resident of village Dhamdhusar and worked as a contractor in the company. The family members allege that the tank was being cleaned at a height of 50 to 60 feet without any safety measures, due to which this accident happened. If there were safety measures, then perhaps he would not have died. The police have registered a case and started investigation.

The company director assured to give a job to the brother of the deceased and a compensation of Rs 5 lakh to the wife, after which the family members removed the gate of the company and took the body for the last rites.
