Youth Dies Under Mysterious Circumstances on Bela Bypass in Rewa; Family Blames Poor Road Condition

 The deceased, identified as Ankit Saket, a resident of Chorhata, was on his way to attend an event in Bela when the tragic incident occurred. His body was discovered early Sunday morning on the highway.

Bike Jumps from Pothole, Fatal Head Injury Suspected

According to police, Ankit’s motorcycle apparently hit a pothole, causing the vehicle to bounce and him to lose balance. He fell on the road and sustained a severe head injury. While no major external injuries were visible, doctors suspect internal trauma as the cause of death. Ankit was rushed to Sanjay Gandhi Hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead.

Family Holds Bad Road Responsible

Relatives of the deceased have blamed the poor condition of the Bela Bypass road for the tragedy. They alleged that the highway is riddled with potholes and uneven patches, posing a constant danger to motorists.

Postmortem and Site Investigation Underway

Police have sent the body for postmortem and initiated an investigation. The exact cause of death will be confirmed after the autopsy and forensic examination of the accident site.
