MP Cabinet Approves Uniform Civil Code Bill, Set to Be Tabled in Monsoon Session

The Madhya Pradesh government has taken a significant step towards implementing the Uniform Civil Code (UCC) by approving the draft Uniform Civil Code Bill, 2026 during a Cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav on Sunday. The draft received unanimous approval and is now set to be introduced in the Monsoon Session of the Madhya Pradesh Assembly, which begins on July 20.
