Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Friday accused the Congress party of contributing to Assam’s changing demography, claiming that the infiltrator population in the state rose to 64 lakh during Congress rule. Addressing a public rally at Khanikar Parade Ground, Shah criticized Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, questioning what his party had delivered to Assam “apart from guns, bullets, conflict, and the deaths of young people.”
