An all-party meeting convened by the government ahead of Parliament’s Budget Session began on Monday, with participation expected from Members of Parliament representing more than 35 political parties. The meeting aims to build consensus on legislative business and ensure smooth functioning of the session, which is scheduled to commence on January 28 with the President’s address to a joint sitting of both Houses.
