In a tragic incident in Korba district, a 28-year-old man allegedly committed suicide by consuming perfume and then hanging himself at his residence in Katghora. The deceased, Vidyasagar, was a local mechanic and had been married in 2025. His wife is seven months pregnant. Family members claim that Vidyasagar’s mental state had been unstable due to fears of “black magic” and supernatural influences.
