Akshay Kumar Visits PM Modi’s Hometown Vadanagar

Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar, who was in Gujarat to attend the Filmfare Awards in Ahmedabad, visited Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s hometown, Vadanagar, on Thursday morning.

Temple Visit and Spiritual Experience
Kumar began his visit at the Hatkeshwar Mahadev Temple, where he offered prayers and sought blessings. Speaking about the serene atmosphere, he remarked, “When there is peace here, the sound of ‘Om Namah Shivaya’ can be heard.”

Exploring Vadanagar’s Heritage
Following the temple visit, Akshay Kumar toured the Archaeological Museum, gaining insights into Vadanagar’s rich historical and cultural legacy. He appeared deeply impressed by the town’s heritage.

He also visited Prerna School, where PM Modi completed his early education, interacting with students and observing the school’s environment. Local residents welcomed him warmly with a traditional tilak ceremony, adding a personal touch to the visit.

Engaging with Locals and Students
During his time in Vadanagar, Kumar admired the temple’s intricate carvings and the self-manifested (Swayambhu) Shiva Lingam, describing the experience as “wonderful.” He also took photographs with students and locals, calling the visit an unexpected yet memorable highlight of his Filmfare Awards trip
