Dhanashree Verma breaks silence: Says 'It feels bad, nothing is true'

Choreographer and content creator Dhanashree Verma is currently been seen in the OTT reality show 'Rise and Fall'. During the show, Dhanashree broke her silence on claims of taking alimony from Yuzvendra Chahal.

When Aditya Narayan asked Dhanashree on the show how long it had been since her divorce, she said, "Officially, it's been about a year."

After this, Kubbra Sait said that her divorce happened quite quickly. To this, Verma said, "It happened quickly because it was by mutual consent. Therefore, when people talk about alimony, it's wrong. Just because I'm silent, will people keep saying anything? My parents have taught me to clarify only to those who matter. Why waste time explaining to people you don't even know?"

Nayandeep Rakshit asked her if she ever felt like saying something when there were talks about her alimony? To this, Dhanashree said, "Ultimately, when something like this happens, you feel bad. It wasn't necessary. None of this is true. What bothered me the most was why they did it? But it's okay, I will always respect them. That's my thinking. Now I don't think I can date anyone."

Cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal and Dhanashree Verma got married in December 2020. However, in June 2022, they separated, and their divorce was formally finalised in March 2025. Meanwhile, there were reports that Dhanashree had demanded an alimony of Rs 60 crore, which her family had dismissed in an official statement.

Dhanashree's special bond with Arbaz Patel is visible

Aditya Narayan, Arbaz Patel, and Dhanashree Verma had formed a group right from the beginning of Rise and Fall. Pawan Singh was also a part of it, but now he is no longer part of the show. After Pawan's departure, Dhanashree and Arbaz's closeness seems to be increasing. In one episode, Dhanashree told Arbaz, "You have made it difficult for me. I am a friend of the villain." To this, Arbaz replied, "I am not a villain, I am a hero."

Dhanashree said, "If you want to be a hero, you will have to listen to me." To which Arbaz said, "I am both the hero and the villain. Would you like to be the heroine?" Dhanashree laughed at this.

Then Arbaz said, "That's the problem. Throughout the film, the heroine stays with the villain."

Recently, when Arbaz left the penthouse and went to the basement with the workers, Dhanashree was seen crying during this time.

Before leaving the penthouse, Arbaz messaged Dhanashree.

He said, "I am leaving now. Please take care of yourself, Dhanashree. People used to say that all your decisions were influenced by me. Now you can play your individual game. Please take care of yourself."

After Arbaz left, Dhanashree said, "I can't believe my friend is now going down the lift to the workers. When he told me to take care of myself, I got emotional."
