The Bollywood-themed night featured high-energy performances by Varun Dhawan, Kriti Sanon, Jacqueline Fernandez and Ranveer Singh, who engaged the international guests with popular Hindi film tracks. Witnesses said Singh even pulled Anderson on stage, encouraging her to dance to the hit “Jhumka” track as Trump Jr joined in.
The evening also included a light-hearted talk show hosted by filmmaker Karan Johar with groom Vamsi Gadiraju and bride Netra Mantena, adding to the entertainment ahead of the multi-day royal wedding festivities.
The celebrations drew even more global attention with the arrival of Hollywood icon Jennifer Lopez on Friday night. Lopez, who is staying at The Leela Palace, received a traditional Rajasthani welcome with a shower of flowers. She is scheduled to perform on Saturday evening at Manak Chowk inside City Palace, where pop star Justin Bieber is also expected to take the stage. Bieber is set to arrive in Udaipur on Saturday afternoon.
Wedding events have been spread across Udaipur’s most iconic venues. The haldi ceremony took place on Friday at the Taj Lake Palace, where guests dressed in yellow danced to folk and contemporary music. The mehendi and dinner are scheduled for Saturday at Manak Chowk, followed by two after-parties at Taj Lake Palace and The Leela Palace.
The baraat procession will be held on Saturday evening from City Palace’s Badi Pol to Rameshwar Ghat, while the main wedding ceremony will take place on November 23 at Jagmandir Island Palace in the middle of Lake Pichola.
