'Jana Naayagan' is considered to be Tamil star Thalapathy Vijay's last film, after which he will fully devote himself to politics. Vijay is the founding president of the 'Tamizhaga Vetri Kazhagam' (TVK). If his party wins the upcoming Tamil Nadu Assembly elections next year, he is likely to become fully active in politics.

It is worth mentioning that Vijay made his debut as a lead actor in 1992 with his father S. A. Chandrasekhar's film Naalaiya Theerpu. Before that, he had also worked as a child artist in a few films. Since his 2015 film Puli, none of his films have flopped. Though films like Beast (2022), Varisu (2023), and The Greatest of All Time (GOAT) (2024) received mixed reviews, they performed well at the box office.

Vijay began his acting career as a child artist in 1984 with the film Vetri, which was directed by his father, S. A. Chandrasekhar. Later, when he expressed his desire to become a film hero, his father initially refused.

On the talk show Koffee with Anu on Star Vijay channel, Vijay shared that he was not good at studies and wanted to do something meaningful in life. He repeatedly asked his father to launch him in films. After constant refusals, Vijay got upset and left home, going to Udhayam Theatre. Before leaving, he left a note saying that he should not be searched for.

His plan was to watch a movie and return home in two hours, but his father somehow found out he was at the theatre. He came to the theatre and brought Vijay back home.Raj Babbar @73, grew close to Rekha Removed from Amitabh's films, public cried “shoot him” after watching rape scenes; rose from villain to people's leader.
