In a recently released motion poster, Mehra revealed his transformation into the character Zehraak, a chilling and silent antagonist. His first look showcases a rugged and brooding figure, marked by a piercing glare and an aura of menace. The image has sparked intrigue among fans, with Mehra describing the character as “the silence before the storm, and the haunting stillness after.”
Sharing the look on social media, Mehra wrote, "Khud hi khuda, khud hi insaaf! Khauf ka naya naam - ZEHRAAK," hinting at the character’s god-like control and ominous presence. The line has quickly caught the attention of fans, becoming a trending phrase among supporters of the actor.
The post drew praise from industry peers, with actor Mouni Roy calling the look “Amazing,” and many fans celebrating Mehra’s edgy new persona.
Filming for Silaa began on July 1, with Mehra earlier sharing behind-the-scenes photos from the film’s mahurat shot. One of the images showed director Omung Kumar with a clapperboard, joined by co-stars Harshvardhan Rane, Sadia Khateeb, and Ipsitaa.
Thanking fans for their encouragement, Mehra posted, “Grateful for all the support. Here’s to new beginnings. #Silaa.”
Silaa is being presented by Zee Studios and is backed by a robust production team including Umesh KR Bansal, Pragati Deshmukh, Himanshu Tiwari, Ajay Singh, Dhananjay Singh, Abhishek Ankur, and Captain Rahul Bali, with Rahhat Shah Kazmi serving as co-producer.
