Manprit Rayat: Casting Director Turned Music Talent Visionary Redefining India’s Creative Landscape

From Advertising Excellence to a New Creative Calling

Until 2020, Manprit built a strong reputation in the advertising world, leading casting for high-impact campaigns and establishing himself as a trusted creative collaborator. But even during this phase, his heart was steadily drifting toward music and its people.

His transition began in 2017 when he worked on a Rolling Stone India shoot featuring major Bollywood performers. This experience ignited a deeper passion for music culture and connected him with some of the industry’s most grounded and artistic talents.

Finding Pure Artistry in the Music Fraternity

During his exploration, Manprit started writing poetry, attending jam sessions and forming friendships with musicians whose authenticity inspired him. He calls the music community “understanding, pure and creatively liberating,” a space where he felt truly seen.

Breakthroughs and Big Collaborations

In 2021, Rayat worked on two significant projects with renowned singers Romy and Akasa Singh, marking a turning point in his music journey.

Soon after, he was selected as a Talent Scouter for Coke Studio Bharat (Season 1), travelling across the country to discover raw regional voices. The experience pushed him out of his comfort zone and helped him grow as an independent decision-maker.

13 Music Projects in Two Years

Between 2022 and 2023, Manprit worked as a Vocal Conductor and Talent Scouter on 13 music tracks.

Three have already been released, while ten more are set to launch with T-Series, featuring iconic artists such as:
