Born on June 6, 1988, in Rishikesh, singer Neha Kakkar grew up in difficult circumstances. The youngest among siblings Sonu Kakkar and Tony Kakkar, she spent her early years in a 10x10 rented room where the entire family lived, cooked and slept together. Her father struggled to support the family and later moved to Delhi, where he sold samosas outside a school and performed at jagratas to earn a livelihood.
