Neil Nitin Mukesh and Khan Sir Inaugurate Stars of India Awards in Patna

Bollywood actor Neil Nitin Mukesh and educator Khan Sir inaugurated the Stars of India Awards at Hotel Panache in Patna on Thursday, marking a celebratory evening dedicated to recognising achievers from across Eastern India. The event also saw the launch of the third edition of the East India Chapter Magazine 2025, which highlights regional talent and success stories.

Addressing the gathering, Neil Nitin Mukesh said he was delighted to be in Patna and praised the city’s warmth and cultural heritage. “I feel proud to present awards to participants with my own hands. Patna’s history and the affection of its people make this visit special,” he said.

Khan Sir, who jointly unveiled the magazine alongside the actor, commended the platform for amplifying voices from the region. “The Stars of India Awards has emerged as a significant stage for the talent and pride of Eastern India. I congratulate the editors, Amrita Rai Verma and Sridhar Verma, for this initiative,” he said.

Amrita Rai Verma called the awards an important step toward recognising individuals who are shaping the cultural and creative landscape of the region. She thanked the guests of honour for supporting the initiative.

The ceremony honoured several distinguished participants, including RJ Anjali, RJ Shashi, Syed Saheb Ali of Matargasti, Wow Vidushi, JP Yadav, Aryan Babu, Sanjay Bhushan Patiyala, Anshuman Sinha and veteran folk singer Sharda Sinha. Bhojpuri singer Aryan Babu said the platform offers invaluable visibility. “People here have been given an opportunity to present their talent, and we are proud to be part of this event,” he said.

Organiser Sridhar Verma expressed gratitude to attendees and noted the strong turnout. “The energy and enthusiasm here are inspiring. This event is a committed effort to celebrate the talent of Eastern India,” he added.

The Stars of India Awards concluded with renewed emphasis on promoting emerging artists and strengthening cultural representation from the region.
