Actress Mannara Chopra's father, Raman Rai Handa, passed away on June 16. Mannara shared this news on Instagram late Monday evening. In her Instagram post, Mannara wrote, "With deep sorrow and a heavy heart, we inform you that our beloved father left us on 16/06/2025. He was the strength of our family."

According to Zoom’s report, Mannara’s father Raman had been ill for some time. He was in Mumbai with the family.

Raman’s last rites will be held on June 18 in Mumbai. In the post shared by Mannara Chopra, it was mentioned that Raman’s funeral will take place at the crematorium located in Amboli, Andheri West, Mumbai. Raman Rai was a lawyer at Tis Hazari Court in the Delhi High Court. He was born in New Delhi. His wife, Kamini Chopra Handa, is a jewelry designer.

Mannara has a younger sister named Mitali Handa. Mitali is a fashion stylist and entrepreneur. Raman is survived by his wife and two daughters.
