Saif Ali Khan Reveals Younger Son Jeh Was Also Injured During Bandra Attack

Recalling the event on Twinkle Khanna and Kajol’s show Two Much, Saif said that Kareena Kapoor was out that night, and he was watching a movie with his sons Taimur and Jeh. Around 2 a.m., after going to bed, the house helper informed him that someone with a knife was in Jeh’s room demanding money.

Saif immediately rushed to Jeh’s room in the dark and found the intruder near Jeh’s bed. The assailant’s constant movement led to both Jeh and the nanny sustaining cuts.

Saif described the attack, saying, “I thought he was shorter than me, so I jumped on him and started fighting. He had two knives and was striking everywhere.” He added that Jeh later joked, “That was a big mistake. You should have punched him.”

The attack took place on January 15, 2025, at Saif’s Bandra residence. Saif was stabbed and rushed to Lilavati Hospital, where a piece of knife was removed from his spine in a five-hour surgery. He was discharged on January 21. The accused, Bangladeshi national Shariful Islam, was later arrested.

Saif also mentioned on the show that he avoided using a wheelchair after leaving the hospital so that fans would not worry about him.
