Salman Khan wraps up Battle of Galwan shoot in 45 Days, Returns to Mumbai in clean-shaven avatar

Salman Khan has successfully completed the rigorous 45-day shoot of his upcoming action drama Battle of Galwan and returned to Mumbai sporting a fresh, clean-shaven look. Directed by Apoorva Lakhia and produced under the Salman Khan Films banner, the movie chronicles the heroic valor of Colonel B. Santosh Babu and promises high-octane action set against the breathtaking backdrop of Ladakh.

Challenging Shoot in Extreme Conditions
On social media, Apoorva Lakhia treated fans to exclusive behind-the-scenes glimpses from the film set. The director posted photos and short clips showcasing Salman braving sub-zero temperatures, trudging through the icy waters of the Indus River, and navigating rocky terrains. Despite the grueling conditions, Lakhia praised the actor’s dedication, calling the experience “memorable” for the entire crew.

Leh-Ladakh Schedule and Soldier Meet-Ups
During the Leh-Ladakh schedule, Salman was spotted interacting with Indian Army personnel and local fans. Pictures circulating online captured him in full military regalia, saluting soldiers and posing for selfies. The location shoot not only underscored the film’s realism but also highlighted the actor’s camaraderie with real-life heroes.

Powerful First Look & Star Cast
Earlier this month, Salman revealed his first look as Colonel B. Santosh Babu—complete with thick patriotic mustaches and a bloodied uniform—on his official Instagram. Actress Chitrangada Singh joins him as the female lead, while newcomer talents fill pivotal roles. Musical maestro Himesh Reshammiya has been roped in to compose the soundtrack, promising a stirring audio experience to complement the film’s intense narrative.

Actor’s Take on the Physically Demanding Role
Speaking to PTI in July, Salman admitted the role pushed his physical limits more than ever before. “This film demands running, kicking, punching in high-altitude cold water,” he said, contrasting it with his earlier action work in Sikandar. He emphasized that every stunt sequence required extra preparation and stamina.

With principal photography now complete, post-production is underway. Fans can expect the teaser release soon, as anticipation builds for this tribute to courage and sacrifice on the icy frontiers of India.
