Shahid Kapoor Wraps High-Octane Climax Shoot for ‘O Romeo’
Bollywood
After the setback of his previous film, Shahid Kapoor is gearing up for a major comeback. His upcoming film, O Romeo, co-starring Tripti Dimri, has just completed its high-octane climax shoot.
Initially scheduled for release this year, the film has now been postponed to 2026.
The climax features an intense face-off between Shahid Kapoor and actor Avinash Tiwari, who plays the film’s antagonist. The action-packed sequences were shot over two days, with meticulous choreography, wire work, and explosive stunts. According to sources, the shoot was carefully planned to create a realistic environment in the studio, allowing full control over lighting and stunts.
This project marks the fourth collaboration between Shahid Kapoor and director Vishal Bhardwaj, following the successes of Kaminey, Haider, and Rangoon. Shahid’s on-screen chemistry with Tripti Dimri is also highlighted, with a storyline where his character becomes completely infatuated with hers.
Despite the initial schedule in Spain, the final climax was filmed secretly in Mumbai’s Bahubali Studio to maintain confidentiality. Both Shahid and Avinash underwent extensive physical preparation and training before shooting the demanding action sequences. Tripti Dimri was actively involved in parts of the climax, adding emotional depth to the high-tension sequences.
With the film now wrapped, anticipation is high for Shahid Kapoor’s next big performance, promising a blend of action, emotion, and Vishal Bhardwaj’s signature cinematic style.
