Starting June 2025, the Employees' Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) will launch EPFO 3.0, enabling members to withdraw their PF savings instantly through ATMs and UPI platforms. This initiative aims to streamline the withdrawal process, eliminating delays and enhancing financial accessibility for over 9 crore subscribers. 

The Employees Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) is taking an important step towards updating its digital platform. EPFO ​​plans to launch a new platform called “EPFO 3.0”, which may be activated from June 2025. Through this new platform, the process of withdrawing money from their accounts will be simplified and made faster for Provident Fund members.

Now under EPFO ​​3.0, employees will be able to withdraw their PF money through UPI and ATM. Earlier complex processes, such as filling forms and waiting for approval, will now end. According to reports, most of the claims will be processed automatically, making settlement possible in just three days.

Withdrawal cards similar to ATM cards will be issued to withdraw money from the PF account, simplifying the withdrawal process.

Members can get information about their PF balance online and transfer funds to the bank account of their choice.

Digital KYC update will also be easy through mobile OTP verification.

Security measures have been strengthened for all transactions and updates, ensuring the safety of users' information.

How to withdraw money from ATM?

Get an EPFO ​​withdrawal card, which will be linked to your PF account.

You can make claims online, with 90% of claims now being automated.

After claim settlement, you can withdraw money using the withdrawal card through an ATM.

The withdrawal limit will depend on the reason you choose, which can range from 50% to 90% of the total balance.
