Ceremony Held on Campus Marks a Historic Milestone for Delhi’s Leading City B-School.
The Fortune Institute of International Business (FIIB), New Delhi, has joined the elite league of the world’s top business schools after earning the coveted AACSB International Accreditation — a distinction granted to fewer than 6% of business schools globally and placing FIIB among the top 1% in India. With this achievement, FIIB becomes part of a select group of over 1,050 accredited institutions worldwide, including only 27 in India, reaffirming its commitment to excellence, impact, and continuous improvement.
The accreditation was formally conferred during a special ceremony at the FIIB campus, celebrating the institute’s three-decade journey toward global recognition. The event was led by Dr. Lily Bi, President and CEO of AACSB International, who personally presented the accreditation plaque to FIIB’s leadership — a rare honor symbolizing FIIB’s entry into the world’s most respected network of business schools.
The ceremony began with a traditional welcome for the AACSB delegation by FIIB’s leadership, faculty, and student representatives. This was followed by an opening address from Dr. Radhika Shrivastava, CEO of FIIB, who highlighted the institution’s enduring commitment to nurturing globally responsible leaders.

“FIIB’s AACSB accreditation is both an institutional and emotional milestone — a testament to our people’s passion and our FIIB 2030 Mission to build future-ready, innovative, and globally impactful leaders. It reinforces our belief that you matter and that learning should never stop,” said Dr. Shrivastava.
Dr. Lily Bi commended FIIB’s dedication to meeting AACSB’s rigorous global standards. “FIIB’s commitment to earning accreditation reflects its dedication not only to its students, alumni, and the broader business community, but to the higher education ecosystem as a whole. Today’s students are tomorrow’s business leaders, and FIIB’s addition to the AACSB-accredited network will create lasting positive impact locally and globally.”
Also present as guests of honour were Dr. Geoff Perry, Executive Vice President and Chief Officer (Asia Pacific, Americas, and Membership), and Prathap Das, Regional Head, South Asia, AACSB International, who congratulated FIIB on this remarkable achievement.
The event concluded with an engaging panel discussion titled “The FIIB Collective – Stories of Impact and Inclusion”, moderated by Mr. Manish Kheterpal, Managing Partner, WaterBridge Ventures. The panel featured eminent leaders including Aditi Arora (Country Director – Girl Up India, UN Foundation), Hemant Sahal (Founder & CEO, Digii), Patralekha Mohanty (Director – Tech Cloud, Oracle and FIIB Distinguished Alumna), and Dr. Kokil Jain (Dean – Research & Outreach, FIIB).
What AACSB Accreditation Signifies
Established in 1916, the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) is the world’s oldest and most respected business education accrediting body. Often regarded as the gold standard, AACSB accreditation signifies that a business school upholds the highest benchmarks of academic rigor, research impact, ethical leadership, and meaningful industry and societal engagement.
For students and alumni, the accreditation ensures global recognition of their degree across 60+ countries, boosting international mobility and employer confidence. For industry partners and recruiters, it serves as a strong indicator of FIIB’s commitment to producing leaders equipped for a rapidly changing, interconnected business environment.
