Male candidates must also meet a chest measurement of 79 cm (General/OBC/BC) or 76 cm (SC/ST).

Applicants should be between 18 and 40 years of age as of January 1, 2025; age relaxations apply for reserved categories. The application fee is Rs.100 for all categories. The selection process comprises a Physical Efficiency Test, a Hindi Writing Ability Test, and a Technical Proficiency Test (for Urban Home Guard technical posts).

Candidates must upload scanned copies of essential documents including Aadhaar Card, signature, caste certificate (if applicable), registered mobile number, Voter ID, passport-size photo, and educational certificates (7th/10th standard).
