CAT 2025 Results Awaited as Aspirants Eye Top IIMs
Digital Desk
Over 2.58 lakh candidates who appeared for the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2025 are anxiously awaiting their scorecards, with IIM Kozhikode yet to announce an official release date despite the final answer key dropping on December 17.
Sources close to the exam convenor indicate results could land between December 28 and 31, dashing earlier speculation of a December 19 rollout.
The exam, held November 30 across three slots, saw 187 objections to the provisional key—only one upheld in Quantitative Ability.
Scorecards, accessible via login at iimcat.ac.in, will detail sectional and overall percentiles, normalised for slot variations. Validity runs until December 31, 2026.
High achievers target flagship programs at IIM Ahmedabad, Bangalore, and Calcutta, where cut-offs often exceed 99 percentile for general category.
Other IIMs and over 1,000 B-schools will use scores for 2026-28 batches.
Post-results, shortlists trigger Written Ability Tests, Group Discussions, and Personal Interviews starting February.
Coaching experts predict competitive percentiles amid a moderately tough paper.
Candidates should monitor the official site closely. Last year's results arrived December 19, but delays this cycle stem from objection reviews.
As admission season looms, strong performances open doors to elite management careers.
