CBSE has started the online application process for Class 10 scanned answer sheets. Students can apply till August 9, while verification and re-evaluation applications will begin on August 16.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has opened the online application window for Class 10 students who wish to obtain scanned copies of their evaluated answer sheets for the 2026 board examinations. Eligible students can submit their applications through the official CBSE portal before the deadline.
The facility allows students to review their evaluated answer books before deciding whether to apply for verification of marks or re-evaluation.
Scanned Answer Copies Available Till August 9
Students can apply for scanned copies of answer sheets from August 5 to August 9, 2026. The facility is available only through the online portal, and candidates must complete the application process within the specified period.
CBSE has fixed a processing fee of ₹300 per subject for obtaining a scanned copy of the evaluated answer book.
Verification and Re-evaluation Schedule
After receiving the scanned answer sheets, students who believe there has been an error in evaluation can apply for verification of marks or re-evaluation.
The application window for both services will remain open from August 16 to August 19, 2026.
The prescribed fee is:
-
₹300 per subject for verification of marks.
-
₹100 per question (including all sub-parts) for re-evaluation.
Online Applications Only
CBSE has clarified that every stage of the process will be conducted exclusively through the online mode. Applications submitted through any offline method will not be accepted.
Students can pay the prescribed fee using:
-
UPI
-
Debit Card
-
Credit Card
-
Net Banking
Payments through cash, cheque, demand draft, postal order or money order will not be accepted.
One Application Per Candidate
According to the Board, candidates can submit only one application at each stage of the process. Therefore, students are advised to carefully decide the subjects for which they want scanned copies, verification or re-evaluation before submitting the application.
Revised Marksheet if Marks Change
CBSE has also stated that if a student's marks increase or decrease after verification or re-evaluation, the previously issued Mark Statement-cum-Certificate must be surrendered. The Board will then issue a revised marksheet reflecting the updated result.
Students are advised to carefully review the scanned answer sheets before requesting further evaluation, as re-evaluation is permitted only after obtaining the scanned copy.
