The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially announced the much-awaited datesheet for the 2025 board examinations for Class 10 and Class 12 students. As per the notification issued by the board, the exams for both classes are scheduled to commence on February 17, 2025.
For Class 10, the examination will begin with the Mathematics paper, while Class 12 students will start their board exams with Biotechnology and Shorthand as the first papers. The complete timetable, including subject-wise exam dates and timings, has been made available on the official CBSE website — cbse.gov.in.
According to the board, the exams will be conducted in offline mode at designated centers across the country and abroad. The schedule has been designed carefully to ensure that students get sufficient gap days between major subjects, allowing them adequate time for preparation.
CBSE officials have urged students to download the official datesheet only from the board’s website and not to rely on unofficial sources circulating on social media. The board has also advised schools to display the datesheet prominently on their notice boards for easy access.
Meanwhile, CBSE has emphasized that all exam centers must follow strict guidelines related to fairness, discipline, and safety protocols during the examination period. Admit cards for both Class 10 and 12 students will be released closer to the exam dates, and students will be required to carry a printed copy along with a valid school ID on all exam days.
With the announcement of the schedule, excitement and nervousness have set in among students preparing for one of the most important academic milestones in their school life. Teachers have also started revising key topics and conducting mock tests to help students strengthen their preparation.
Students can view and download the complete CBSE 2025 board exam datesheet directly from the official portal at cbse.gov.in under the “Latest Updates” section.
