Educational Qualifications

Junior Engineer (Civil): Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognised institute.
Pump Operator: ITI certificate in Machinist or Fitter trade from a recognised institute.
Work Inspector (Mechanical): Class 10 pass with ITI in Machinist, Fitter, Wireman, or Electrician trade.
Junior Engineer (Electrical): Diploma in Electrical/Electronics Engineering from a recognised institute.

Age Limit

Minimum Age: 18 years
Maximum Age: 37 years
Unreserved Women, BC & EBC: Up to 40 years
SC/ST: Up to 42 years
Age Relaxation:
- OBC: 3 years
- SC/ST: 5 years

Negative Marking: 1 mark

Junior Engineer

Duration: 2 hours
Negative Marking: One-fourth mark

Junior Engineer Syllabus (Overview)

Civil Engineering: Building Materials, RCC Design, Surveying, Soil Mechanics, Hydraulics, Irrigation, Transportation Engineering, Steel Design, Estimation and Valuation.
Electrical Engineering: Basic Electrical, Machines, Power Systems, Control Systems, Power Electronics, Protection and Switchgear.
Mechanical Engineering: Strength of Materials, Thermodynamics, IC Engines, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Machine Design.
